문아트그라운드는 경기도 용인의 숲속에 자리한 사립 미술관입니다.
본관은 1985년 한 작가의 스튜디오로 시작해, 40년 동안 갤러리, 아카이브, 미디어 아트 홀로 그 쓰임을 더해 왔습니다.
오늘의 문아트그라운드는 세 개의 실내 전시 공간을 운영합니다. 문 갤러리는 회화와 대형 태피스트리를, 아카이브는 1985년부터 모아온 예술과 디자인 서적을, 실버스크린은 대형 미디어 아트를 선보입니다. 그리고 디저트와 음료가 포함된 웰컴 세트가 제공됩니다.
Moon Art Grounds is a private museum in the forest of Yongin, Korea.
The main building began in 1985 as a working artist's studio. Four decades on, we have kept the original structure — the brick, the proportions, the light — and built the museum's program around it.
Today Moon Art Grounds is a complex cultural space across three indoor exhibition rooms and the grounds outside. Moon Gallery holds contemporary painting and large-scale tapestry. The Archive holds more than thirty years of curated art books, sketches, and personal records. Silver Screen is an immersive media-art hall of sound and projection. Admission includes a welcome set with dessert and drink.
